About	Casa de Pilatos in Seville. A villa build in the so called mudéjar style, not actually the home of Pilatus of course, but the property of a wealthy Spanish noble man (the marquis of Tarifa). Why it is named the house of Pilatus isn't quite clear, some say it was build to resemble the actual house of Pilatus in Jerusalum (where the marquis spent some time whilst on a Grand Tour). Others say that the marquis was a very religious man who walked to a little chapel everyday, erected the stations of the cross on that way and what was the building at the beginning of that way in Jerusalem.... the house of Pilatus.... It's a beautiful villa and with Easter Sunday only an hour away, I though it was quit an appropriate upload... BTW Minerva is keeping a watchful eye in the corner...

Nice shot Petal and a very interesting and informative narrative too.. I love all the arches and the peating patterns... and then you ahev a contrasting black pillar (silhouette) to balance and contrast the whites of the rest of the image. Well done! And a very happy and relaxing easter too...
