Oh, yes!
I did hear about this. I will try when I get a ring (male 52mm/male 55mm) to adapt the old lens.
I saw some stunning macros with this adaptation.

P.S. A macro photographer at our photo club gave a hint I'm interested in trying. He said you can take an other lense and reverse it and attach it to your lens and get super macros.
