About Sorry it's another orange, but I don't have any other fruit to hand...

The main image was taken on the steps along the Wisla in Warsaw. The orange comes from the same session as the image "green" (slice of orange in hole cut in a sheet of wood with light shone through from behind).

This idea has been sitting around for a while. The steps acquired the orange a couple of days ago but there was still something missing. The idea came while I was adjusting the perspective of the orange to the steps, and achieved with a touch of the PSP9 warp brush.

Fantastic imagination and sense of humor. I am still working with PS 5.5 Really have to upgrade. When I do, I will surely need help. Thanks for your wonderful comment on "storm dance". I've been feeling that I really didn't bring many good photos back. Hard to be objective about one's work. So thank you my friend. Love your image 7+ on originality.

Many thanks Steve - you have definitely improved the orange. I didn't think about tidying up the details, having got a bit carried away by the overall concept.

Great and striking abstract.

The edges of the orange seem a little raw to me, and take away, only very slightly, from how the image comed together.

A very light use of the blur tool around the 'raw' edges would, i think, help bring this very stuning abstract together.

Good to see other brit ex pats arounf here :) - I'm originally from Chorley, (Nr Preston) - not to far from Manchester - used to live in Manchester for a couple of years :)

Had a little tweak in PS made the edges a little softer - see what you think....
