I think this is really excellent post processing work Alicia, Im just starting to learn all that PS can do and its really an awful lot to take in!! A tighter crop my be a good Idea with this image. Great capture and PS work!

Alicia,

Nice shot, but I think to make the cowboy stand out more, I would have given him color and no one else. Maybe that's not possible, I don't have PS, so I'm unaware of its capabilities and limitations. Also did you try cropping it more to really focus on the people in the pit? These are just suggestions to give the photo more emotional impact. As it is, it's a good capture, hope to see more in the future.
