your photos are really so intense and powerful. Seeing kids like that of course makes me sad, but then what you write is true. Very often I see photos of very very poor kids from all over the world and they still have so much happyness inside them. If they can laugh from their heart in their situations how much reason do we have to complain.

Subhash. This is a great photo. The dramatic shadows and strong stares of the children really pierce my heart and make me feel thankful for what I have... you have outdone yourself on this one, it almost makes me want to cry, except for the girl trying to smile, I would definately cry, but she is hopeful, and so am I.
