About I couldn't resist puttin this one next to my last post if green is Earth then this must surely be Mars. I know people can get sick of sunsets and sunrises, (not me), but only a complete idiot would turn their nose up at this one. My jaw hit the ground with such force I nearly tripped over it in my desperation to find a striking silhouette before its intensity faded. For those that are interested this is NOT computer enhanced in actual fact it is about 90% the colour intensity of the original Velvia transparency. Sunrise over a grove of pine trees Roseisle, Moray, Scotland.

Thank goodness you had your camera handy for this. I haven't yet got sick of sunsets, and I haven't even seen anything this vivid first hand! Wow.

Excellent scenic, you did well to find just enough foreground interest to balance the colors in the sky,

Pure magic! Whoever gets sick of sunsets and sunrises has issues and must not be fully alive.
This has to be one of the most amazing sights. I know exactly how you must have felt. Thank you so much for sharing your visual wealth.

Colours and cloud formations are great, but the silhouettes add context and interest to the photo in order to create a compelling image! Congrats.
