About
The Christ of the Ohio statue overlooks the Ohio River from the highest hill at Troy, Indiana. The statue, which serves as a landmark for pilots and river traffic, was created by German sculptor Herbert Jogerst as a silent message of peace. It was placed at Fulton Hill in 1956. I wanted to get a night shot also but unfortunately the light fixture is out of service.
Terrific composition, Bret, and the perfect sky - somehow I doubt this would be as effective with a clear sky. It would be worth going back for another try at a night shot, but this is wonderful on its own. Well done, and great "about".
