It wasn't long before word got around Hollywood about a hyper super talented unknown simply called El Edwardo. Words like "the new Elvis" and "4 Beatles for the price of one" were being tossed around. With the smooth voice of Frank, Sammy D. jr , and Don Ho shaken up and flowing out of a cocktail mixer, the sexual heat of a Tom Jones, and the sleek moves of James Bond every agency in Hollywood was wining and dining him to no end - the sky was the limit. El Edwardo would usually order the Surf and Turf with a couple dry Martini's on the side - said it "cleaned the pipes" Everywhere he went just his presence would draw massive crowds and screaming, fainting women - he just radiated that undefinable "Heat". In this shot here (the 2nd in a continuing series) El Edwardo makes a surprise stop at our humble little bungalow - he slightly knew me from some recent performance shots I'd taken of him (we were having a small party waiting for "Da Ali G show" to come on.) We were all sitting around making small talk with El Edwardo when all of a sudden everything went quiet and he pointed right at me and said, "You...You, I need some new publicity photos and I want YOU to take them. You up for it Candyman ? (he called everybody "Candyman") I nearly dropped my camera. I said, "Sure El" He said, "Good thinking Candyman" and as we were just about ready to invite him to watch ALI G with us on the big screen he said, "I'd love to stay and hang with you kids but the meter's running on the Limo and there's some company inside" Then he whispered "Twins", Smiled, and said "what's a guy to do, huh?" that's when I snapped this shot.The whole thing seems like a dream now.
