About
taken in bright winter sunset, some problems with development of this 120 roll of Ilford Pan F 50 iso film, only my second roll of 120 bw film I have developed. Partial crop of full image, uneven development.
thanks for the feedback. The reel I have allows me t walk the film on easily. I have just got back into film development after a 25 year hiatus, done about 8 rolls of 35mm... they turned out better than this and one other roll of 120. I may need to get a tank specifically for 120 film. Good to learn when one is an old dog.
Yes, that 120 is THIN! It may have stuck together on the reel or at least the spirals got too close to each other. I believe 120 will require more agitation than you may be used to if you do a lot of 35 mm, too. Better ask someone who does 120, though, because I'm guessing. Do they have those nylon reels for 120 that you load by working the sides back and forth? Those certainly made loading 35 mm easier for me. The picture! Right, that's why we're here, isn't it? Good job on the tones -- snow is hard to photograph! The running water makes it seem especially cold. A lovely abstract. And I'm glad I live where we don't get much ice and snow to photograph.
