What strikes me here is the light on the flower against the soft and dark background. It makes it pop out. An excellent DOF controled by the aperture makes sure all the planes of the flower are sharp. The challenege in a case like this is to avoid too close elements in the background that would look out of focus rather than softly blurred. The stems in the LL corner are a good example. You have managed very well in this.
