About I think you really don't want to know, so this is just for the record. Orange slice stuck in hole cut in piece of wood with light shone through it, as per "Green". Water droplets on glass as per "Rainstar". Burnt orange smell in house as per "Light gets too close to fruit".

Eh; I see the u mastered the technique of our friend Dan Lightner, he really made a good job to explain secrets of making of such photos to us. Great idea and photo anyway. I like it a lot.

Now THAT is experimentation AJ with a most incredible result. Your ad hoc approach truly has an enormous amount of merit. I shall have try experimenting more. You've given me something to aspire to mate.
Best regards

Hahaha...that is so funny. I like your originality. We all have little mishaps from our experiments and that smell is not fun...LOL!! Thankyou so much AJ for your comment on my image. I am pleased you now know what 'Orange' looks like, although I get the feeling you don't really want to remember much about oranges right this minute....LOL!!

Many thanks for your wonderful comments Dottie. Unfortunately burnt orange smell is not that great, and it seems to linger for a rather long time. Hence, windows wide open, despite near arctic temperatures...

Many thanks, Patrick. No, I'm not using flash. True to the makeshift approach I've adopted for all these images, I've actually stuck a 60W bulb onto a piece of board covered in aluminium foil, and I put this close to whatever is getting the bubble treatment in such a way that there are no reflections. Oh, and I switch the A2 white balance setting to tungsten.

AJ, those bubble shots are great. I've been watching yourself and Dan but I haven't gotten as good of results. Are using a flash? I'm shooting film through an old Pentax K1000 type with extension tubes. Great work. I'll keep trying. thanks for sharing, patrick
