Michael, thanks for the comment. as for the grain, this was not scanned in a negative scanner, and in the switch to jpeg i think it lost some details. thanks again.

Simple and effective use of darkness to frame the geometry in a still room. For some reason the thumbnail is crisper - could be some fuzziness from the film grain.

thanks for the comments. lately i have been doing a lot of interior shots in my apartment. i'm on a topfloor old studio and the windows are great, letting in light from everywhere. i've done a few more conceptual series using all natural light but controlling it with the blinds and stuff and having a lot of fun with it. soon i'll get to scanning negatives and putting on newer stuff. all of this previous stuff is from the spring of 2003 and before.

I also like to do interiors. Somehow, at least to me, I can get impressions on who lives there from the photographer's point of view. The lighting possibilities are numerous and often unpredictable. You find subjects to photograph almost anywhere, and that's a sign of a good eye.
