I just looked at both and prefer this one a little more. It seems something about it gives it a little more life. A great image, i love the lighting and texture of it. Nice work.

Hi Elena, I didn't see the original - I like this version. I like the inclusion of textures such as scratches - for me it adds depth and interest (what a good photography should have). Well done. Cheers! Sam

I think I feel something similar to what Markus wrote... I can't put my finger on exactly what it is, but it's something that makes me feel more for this one. Sad and depressed feeling in this... like a crying hurt flower.

It's hard to say which one is better, Elena. For me, the imperfections make the difference between an excellent and a unique (better) picture. All the great pieces of art have their little imperfections. I personally prefer this one, because through these scratches it gets a kind of dramatic touch. Very well done.
