Good shot. I think no matter what they rebuilt there that most americans would not like. Only over time as they "grow" on everyone will we start to like them or of course when they are attacked again im sure the out crys will poor out. Americans only care when something bad is directly affecting them.

Great shot! I still miss seeing the Twin Towers when I head up the "Greenstamp" to Secaucus, NJ! I also could see them when I was heading East on Route 80 when I was heading in from PA. Seeing the Twin Towers "used to be" a highlight to my long days when I am driving my Rig. Fright Crazy Jim Jones!

Indeed they were beautiful, I think now they are even more famous, what happened will be engraved into millions of people around the world for many years to come. The people who destoryed so many innocent lives, their time is coming if it hasn't already....OK Off my soap box.
It is a lovely shot, beautiful piece of architecture.
