About The owner was no where in sight on this morning, but her home was never more beautifully outfitted. Crystalline, frozen fog adorns this tangled web under the hand rail of my front porch.

Hi Linda. I haven't looked at this photo for some time now but your kind comment brought me back to it.

I wish now that I had stopped down the lens to gain a greater DOF. I probably missed my chance forever! Oh well, on to the next project...
Best wishes, Kurt

Kurt:

I love the level of detail in this photo. It is beautiful overall, but the closer I look, the more I am drawn in :)

Yes, I know that feeling. But I think the heat out this way is worse on age than the cold.

Ah, Judi, one of the small rewards of enduring frigid, arctic temperatures. You know, the older I get, the less I enjoy winter though. lol Kurt

Thanks Melisa. I didn't recall ever seeing a web this heavily frosted before and the moment I noticed it I had to rush back inside for my camera. An hour after I shot this, the wind picked up and destroyed it... Kurt

Wonderful capture. Something that I just wouldn't get to see.

I am always amazed at the beauty of a web - this is quite spectacular! Nice find
