About It was time for a 'play'?

And this is the result!

Not perfect, by any means, but I'm happy with it!

"All work and no play made Jack a sad boy" ~ or something like that!! And I don't wanna be no 'sad boy'!! :o))

Enjoy!

Best regards,

Chris

P.S. Original shot loaded up for interest?

that's really beautiful! Great work on the colors. The fence has some black edges. I guess it from separating it from the sky. One way to avoid that is to contract the selection by 1 or 2 pixel and then blur it by the same amount.

Your work is really great. I looked through your portfoilo and it is a joy to watch the photos. They all show your talent.

I enjoyed looking at your site, Ilona, though I'm afraid I can't read your language. You have some wonderful pictures there and I feel honoured that mine is amongst them. thanks for including the link to my site.

Chris, you have done some amazing PS work on this shot. I am pleased you uploaded the original as well. I have looked at it a few times already and keep coming back. Depending on my mood I can find different "messages" in this shot! It is very thought provoking. My best, Patrick

I've been out of town and have really missed your work.
I love the effect you chose and which gives this a magical and mysterious feeling.
Excellent and one of my favorities from all of the work you've done in my absence.

Well done, Chris!

What a wonderful image Chris! Fences do make such interesting subjects don't you think?! Love the colours and the perspective. Your post processing has really done wonders... Great detail too (must get myself a D70 sometime...)... Well done!

Hi Chris; you've turned what I think would be just be a nicely composed and pleasant scenic into a much more powerful and dramatic work of art. This has a very "Wuthering Heights" character to it. Very well done my friend! Cheers. Craig

Only reason I suspected it wasn't real because I know I'm in the photoart category. It's done so well. I can see the sky comes from another photograph (perfect match by the way) but can't quite figure out how you tweaked the rest. Thank you for posting the original.

Brilliant work Chris in changing a nondescript shot into a work of art. It also brings back some fond memories for me of a similar place at Paignton alongside the steam railway there.

Compositionally speacking perfect: this would make a great example on how to use stuff which might appear disturbing at first as a great way do lead the eye over the composition. Superb Chris, everyghing is superb here.

Unbelievable!!!!
I had to take this to my fav folder!

Chris, magnificent "play" - outstanding result and a winner. This has made a somewhat drab (sorry) original into something out of this world.

Well done, you did extremely well here.
