i saw this yesterday while I was looking at flowers. I was not able to capture all the beautiful nuances as you did. excellent lens work here. you and the Sigma have become close friends. keep shooting!

Teunis, sorry voor mijn late reactie. De dag nadat ik deze gepost had werd ik geveld door de griep. Het gaat nu weer wat beter gelukkig.
Ik moest even naar de originele files om te kijken met welk licht ik deze foto had gemaakt (was begin januari): natuurlijk licht of mijn flitsinstallatie. Het was het laatste, met op 1 flitser een softbox en op de andere een witte paraplu. Diafragma 19 bij 1/125 sec.

Simply beautiful, so delicate and fragile. Even though it is all white (with a little cyan) the highlights and shadows pull out the texture on the petals woderfully. Great choice of abstract composition too.
