Hi! I was out of town for the week and just got your comment...thank you!
in Photoshop I used two filters for effect..
"film grain" and "sumi-e"..I used sumi-e to soften the grain and darken some areas.

i like your recent portrait study's... this however is probably my fav of the series just because of the light quality on your face and knee cap. then i also like how the light gets very contrasty towards your arm and fades into white. well done, great capture and use of light... wondering about the slight movement in camera or digital effect put on the picture???
