About There is one fabulously optimistic tree that is so convinced spring is here, it's in perfectly full bloom, with only a few white petals having fallen.

This photo is for Kristina, who also longs for spring, re-birth and warmth.

Paul, this mixes the seasons well - a snowbank of spring flowers! Nice composition, using the branches to echo the shapes. Amy

Haha... well... I guess you are a crazy person then!

No... just joking! I think our weird brains are constructed in a way that we need the bad things to be able to appreciate the good things and not just take it for granted. So now I will bang my head to the wall so I can appreciate I have one... ;-)

Maybe the funniest thing about that is I lived in San Diego, California, where it is almost ALWAYS sunny and ~ 16-18 degrees c

So THEN...I would STILL complain the weather was "boring. Always the same."

:)

Oooh it's for me? Thankyou, Paul! :-)) I forgive you then, that you show these unfair spring signs! ;-)

It does look so beautiful and I am longing even more now!

The interesting thing is... that in 6 months time we will all complain that it's to warm, we hate the heat etc. Actually... why can't it always be spring?

Beautiful details and dof. Very heartwarming. Hurry up spring, and get here too!

Actually, this is not a macro, but a close-up. (Note my zoom length). This is necessary to reduce the lens angle, eliminating all the un-tree stuff around it. I was probably standing 12 feet away from the blooms.

A veritable cascade of blossom Paul. I like the way you have divided the composition. Regards John
