Peter, This is really lovely. Sometimes I pass by the nearly spent flowers and fail to see that they're still interesting. The water droplets really add to the interest. -- Debby

Hi Peter, I must say Amy's suggestion does justice to your fine image keeping attention on the important and sharp part whereas the whole frame tends to draw attention to the blurry centre in a distracting way.
Lovely time to shoot these subjects, the damp and cool light seems to draw the colours in a very different way to sunlight.

Thanks for the wonderful comments. As I was driving in this morning I was thinking about this photo and my idea is very simular to yours. I was posting these at 5:30 AM this morning, right after my quiet time. The coffee wasn't ready yet...

Peter - well seen! Again a great capture of the little droplets. I've experimented with a crop that brings emphasis to the lone surviving seed. Amy

Its a great shape the head creates, and even better you managed to catch it with only one seed left. I love the droplets of water on the seed, they look like perfect circles. Great shot.
