Nitish,
You touch on a subject that is close to my philosophy behind my photography.
It is my belief that if you took any square metre (or yard) of area, there is a (good) photograph in there somewhere. The art is in the seeing.
I don't know that I'm sufficiently skilled in that art yet, butI'm working on it!
Thanks for your considered comments. Much appreciated.
Neil

Neil, you have the talent of making good photographs out of subject matter that isn't normally considered photogenic. I believe I've almost always seen thorns depicted in a negative manner - either to contrast against another subject or as a metaphor for some dark emotion. Your photograph captures the inherent (and overlooked) beauty of a thorny branch. The sharpness, the color and the DOF come together very well. I specially like the horizontal composition.

Lovely and sharp. Ouch Do you want me to stop commenting on your images? I seem unable to prevent the bad puns...

Great detail there, Neil! I wouldn't want to get caught on those thorns! Thanks for your comments! Dave.
