About This is a spit of land that extends way out into the sea. The scary thing about it is that the height of it at this point is several hundreds of feet high and slops down steeply on both sides. The trail in front of this photo follows the apex and is at one point only 2 feet wide. It feels like walking on a 2x6 board for several yards.

The colors tones in the water below are gorgeous. From this angle, it doesn't look all that treacherous. The water looks just a stones throw away. Your description lends a whole new perspective to a beautiful vista.

hi tim - i love the saturated colours here (i know, i know, i usually bad-mouth them! but here i like them because they are so earthy & real for me). Very powerful & dramatic. Hey, where is this? out at e.sooke?

Just when I think I've seen your best, you come up with something equally great, Tim! This is fantastic, the quality of light is beautiful.
Don't break a leg, though!
Dave.

Simply amazing picture. You've captured one of those images that seems so pretty it's too much to take in all at once. This looks like a picture of a lifetime, excellent shot!

Hi Craig ...OPPPPs...the lens was a miss print. I am using the same ole 17-80 mm Lens....But hey if i could get my hands on a wider lens i would jump at the chance. John Lamb has the lens of my dreams a 14-24 mm ...... oh in my dreams....

Hi Tim; the lighting in this photograph is absolutely beautiful-- the foreground vegetation, reflections on the water, and also the sky. Simply superb! I'm glad you're here to share it on UF-- I've been on a trail or two like you describe-- very dicey! I notice you've used a 10.5mm fisheye for this one-- I don't have one but know they can be difficult to use. Olympus has just introduced a 7-14mm zoom (14-28mm in 35mm), not a fisheye, but VERY wide-- and expensive, but I'm thinking about it! Hey, I'm an equipment junkie too;>). Cheers. Craig

As always the big pleasure of seeing your landscapes.
Tones and colours saturate and definite well, perfect symmetry and glance which always goes to the infinite, there where the horizon meets!
have to nice day
