Hi Tim; this is another of your excellent "small landscapes"-- the colors, composition, great reflections, interesting and sharp detail(s) are all excellent. Like so many others in your portfolio this one has it all. Very nice-- again.
Thanks for cool comments on my 560mm sunball. I got the 1.4 TC for Christmas and was just waiting to capture a big sharp sunball (which I did), but this one w/ the sun mostly below the horizon "spoke to me", and I knew Elisa S. would like it-- we've been exchanging critiques for a long time. hey tim - i knew this was one of yours just from the thumbnail. You have such a strong, distinctive style. I find the bushes on the land a bit too punchy, too saturated for my taste, although i'm sure that will make it grab alot of attention. However, i really love the reflection in the water & the composition's great. This would make a great painting, i think! Cool to see some photos from our old 'home-town'!

Hmmm... Tasty shot.
Only suggestion is to use PS to drop a quick mask with a gradient and then use the mask to graduate the sky just a touch.
