About You have to admit that garlic is powerful!

This is what's left after you finish using all those tasty cloves of garlic.
Never thought I'd actually be photographing one of these! Lori :)

It is such a shame that technology still does not allow the sense of smell to be conveyed within an image - be it tv or photograph as this would knock me out of my chair ;-)

Great idea a a super photograph Lori.

Best wishes,
Steve

The more one looks... the more apparent... it looks back...
Garlic... Enemy of vampires and lovers, but beloved of cooks the world over, one of the original herbal medicines.

Peace and happiness," wrote cook, restaurateur and food writer Marcel Boulestin at the turn of the century.

Looks great Lori- it really looks like a flower, with the petals around the edges and at the center the centerpiece of the garlic. Nice job - loooks good in B&W too, nice high contrast.

Powerful shot, too. I love hoe the dark leafs(?) look so satin-like but the garlic clove(?) looks so rough and stark!

And I am SO excited... I got a Lori blue ribbon! I am celebrating today! Thanks, sweety.

Best,
Dave
