Hi Donatello, There are two feelings that grab me when looking at this photo. First the hazy skyline of Venice, which reminds me strongly of the paintings by Willam Turner; In contrast to this classic scene, there's the bouys and the ship ancored just off shore, adding a totally different (but still timeless) element to the scene. And that's what makes it tick. Very good shot.

La foto e' molto bella con una luce molto ben utilizzata nel creare l'atmosfera anzi il "mood" e con un bel taglio che la valorizza
Per la cornice sarebba da vedere dal vivo, la foto si presta

I like the atmosphere a lot in this picture. Nice use of the old (chiesa Sta. Maria della Salute?) and the new (boat). Nice misty effect!

Mi piace molto la luce ed il taglio panoramico, forse con una cornice meno invadente sarebbe stata maggiormente godibile (anche se solitamente uso anch'io cornici abbastanza pesanti!).
