About ...which is guaranteed to lead into a very tasty evening!
This is my Christmas present: a large smoker, with separate firebox on the left side. This allows me to verrrry slowly smoke meats all day long.

I like the sunlight coming through the trees and smoke early this morning as I was getting the fire going.

Today, there are two de-boned legs of lamb and a pork loin in there, along with some Habanero peppers I'm smoking as well.

...and you're ALL invited to tonight's gathering!! :)

That is one big cooker. You will need all you can cook and eat just to keep up your energy for all the wood that you have to cut for the fire. The backlighting is wonderful. Don.

Oh yes please, I love BBQ's at the best of time but a smoker as well, now you are talking :-)

Great atmosphere, a shame you could not capture the fantastic aromas that must be emanating from this !

Best wishes,
Steve

Well, if you've ever enjoyed Chipotle, realize it's just a jalapeno sliced in two and smoke. I'm attempting to do the same with some of my habaneros. ;)

You see, Texas women are actually very intelligent. They know that if they give a man a MONSTER smoker.. he'll find ways to be creative and cook yummy stuff! lol.. I see there's a little emblem of Texas on the front too :) Very nice present, very nice shot!

OK Paul, I'm on my way...save some lamb for me!
Maybe when the food is ready you could shoot the interior of this cooking monster (with the food, of course)? It's most impressive.

Actually, Dwight, it's of great dispute among Texans where the best Bar-B-Que resides. Just north of here, Llano gets my vote.
