About This was shot from the Hilton New York looking WNW.I liked the sense depth in this shot along with the juxtaposition of the old vs. new architecture.

You very effectively convey the feeling of being up high. This must have been a very wide angle!

Hi Salvatore, Outstanding perspective, and a very good wide angle shot. I like the high view point. It takes the city scape out of the ordinary, and expresses the sheer size of the skyscrapers, as well as the feeling of height. Very good shot!

Cheers,

Hugo

There really is a nice sense of depth here, and height! I also like the really fine detail in each of the buildings. It would be interesting to compare this view with one from 30 or 50 years ago. Interesting, too, is the old and the new being next to each other. I prefer the older architecture; more of the New York feel.
