About This is when i was to vain to velcro up my Holga and I paid for it as you can see.. back opened and shot was exposed.. so were 2 more shots.. : ( Lesson learned and my Holga is now really ugly yet really functional!!! : ) Tara.. oops also forgot to say I forgot to take out the 35mm internal adapter.. I think it saved this for the most part. Will have more shots soon. I'm waiting for slides and 120 film. I am also awaiting my NEW Holga filters from Hong Kong : )

That's ok Alison, I don't always know what to expect either... that is the fun part about it I guess.. but sometimes when it doesn't turn out it gets a little frustrating because I have to wait for over 2 weeks for the pictures to come back. Tara

An interesting shot, great angle. I don't really know anything about Holgas so am not sure what to expect. Alison

..very cool and ghostly - look at the figure to the left of the arch door - right middle -- looks like one of theose fotos from the ghostbuster types.. K

I agree about not messing up the Diana.. I've seen them go for over $100... to tell you the truth. I have bid on one up to $45.. then gave up and bought my Holga which was new and I knew it would work. : )

If it weren't a Diana I would put velcro on it. I see these things going for $75 on eBay. I paid a few bucks for mine. Some people are crazy!

A block of wood : ) he eh.. I used part of an old flash/tripod unit from a polaroid and velcroed it all up and it is pretty sturdy there was already velcro on my camera so I put the fuzzy side on the bottom of the camera and the tooth side on the inside of the bar, then added to it by having velcro over the bar too.. velcro is a marvel : ) . .. It also has the threds left to adapt to my regular tripod's mount. I was pretty happy with myself..I should take a picture of my ugly camera so you can see. Tara

Tara- interesting effect. I just finished a roll in my Diana (yes the real thing...). I think I like the Holga better. As soon as I get some prints made, I'll post them. I put a tripod thread on my Holga last year -- easy to do, and it is great. The Diana tho, could use one. Maybe I'll rubber band it to a block of wood. ;)

Good shot, Tara. It looks like a Civil War era photograph. And eerie, too! Looks like there's a shadow of a man to the left of that arch. Like you, I'll be making more photos with the Holga; recently got a used Polaroid back for 62 bucks, yay! Keep shooting.

Mark
