Wonderful image. I love the framing by the foreground tree, and the various shades of green through the fog. Nice work.

The mood in this photos is so strong... Other folks have suggested that the dark foreground detracts, but I like it. I feel as through I am looking at a magical place through a secret door. Amy

I know, there are things you cannot control. It's what I implied with ".. as that just wasn't the case"... :) Can't change what isn't there, and I won't hold it against you...:)

The softness in this shot is a beautiful tell tale of the humid environment, dripping from the damp fog. Very tranquil and inspiring scene, as well as a very well composed image. The only thing that crosses my mind is the consideration that the dark earth in the foreground kind of closes up the composition, if the fresh green grass would've overlapped more, the division between foreground and background could've been more subtle, but that's only a minor detail, as that just wasn't the case... Awesome shot, definately a contester for the best of 2004...:)
Cheers,
Hugo

I love photos of fog! This one is no exception. The tree in silhouette is sharp, the fog adds a sense of mystery. Good colors on the grass by the way.
