Gorgeous, Dave. I'll agree that if this were "real", the barn would probably be silhouetted; in fact, the barn and vegetation appear to have frontal lighting (but this would be possible if reflected off rocks). So - the "natural look" is good, but the overall effect is stunning. :) Very well done.

Great experiment, fun to play with the two photos, can get some really interesting effects using the different modes!
This does have the weathered natural look! Good job, the sky is awesome Lori :)

I like this. You did a good job with combining them, but if this was real, then the barn wouldn't be so bright. It would probably be black, but I wouldn't make it black. I would leave it lighter so that one can tell what it is.
