About Have been undecided about which lenses to purchase for my 20D, I set out on a quest to find which lens best suited my camera. I have read many reviews and narrowed my search down to 2 lenses the Canon 17-40 ($699) or the Tamron 17-35 ($349). I was very skeptical at first about the Tamron's comparison to the much more expensive Canon lens, but after seeing my results at F2.8/ 17 mm, there is just no way in my mind I can see myself shell out an additional $350. I would be grateful if anyone could express thier opinions on this matter.
