Just returned from Egypt, after a scuba diving in Red sea. Managed to visit Luxor in between.
This sun set is from Hurghada, red sea resort town. Hundreds of 5 star hotels catering for Europe. Only 5 hours journey from london. You hardly see any local Egyptians except tour operators in the hotel lobby !
Great place for people seeking sun. But I was after the under the corals and beautiful fishes. One of the best place in the world for scuba diving. The colorful coral gardens are protected as National park from damage.
Trophical sky is worth mentioning here - clouds are no where to be seen for most of the time. As the atmosphere is elipitical like egg, and the shortest part lies at the poles - all the clouds tend to gravitate towards the poles. So the trophical sky is always a vast beautiful blue duing the day and at night full of twinkling stars. A Great evening sport is star gazing.
I was surprised to see bit of clouds on this sunset. Even they were a thin strand of flufy cottons.
