This is a cool photo, I couldn't see the line either, but did see it on the other one. If it's not on your neg, perhaps you could get them to redo them. Dottie

Mary, My apology , I thought you were asking about the problem with the vignetting, that's why I pointed it out and I did not see the lines running throught the photo...my bad. -MM

call me crazy but I actually like the vignetting in this photo. When I cropped it out I wasn't as crazy about it. Somehow it gave it more depth.

Thanks Ben,
Yes, some people have offered suggestions. I think it probably is the lab because it is only on a few photos... on that roll.
thanks for the note.

Hi John,
My best guess is the processing to because it is only on 4 photos... the ones before it and after it are fine.
so that is good to know.
Thanks for your thoughts.

I will add my pennys worth by suggesting the film may be outdated, If not then the processing lab would have to be at fault. I realy wouldnt blame the camera.

Well the Vignetting has nothing to do with it. Does it only show up when you use the same Lab? Perhaps the labs developing machine is leaving a trail on the film. Is the line on the negative as well? If it was white I would say that your camera isn't sealing out light very well, but that can't be right... Hope that gets people brain storming.

This photo has vignetting. Vignetting is the unwelcome dark peripheral circular masking seen when attachment hardware (filter rings, step-up rings, lens barrels, hoods, etc.) shows up in the periphery of the image. Vignetting tends to appear at wider angle zoom settings and will worsen as the zoom is widened. Is that what you needed to know?
