It's a very strong subject Dave, in perspective, crosses and snow on them, greyscale, deep sad feallings and falling snow that adds even more...absolutely great image!
Best regards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Dave,
This is silent, simple and great composition..
The name you gave for this shot gives the main idea. Snowy day shot by using perspective is also great!
Congratulations Dave, I wish you good luck for your future shots.

Dave, I really like this one and perfect in B&W. Not too many big headstone around here, great capture. I miss seeing it not being in it. Been here 25 yrs. Marilyn

An appropriate title, this is very nicely taken and the B/W so befitting. You have gotten the tones and lighting beautifully. alison

I like everything about this shot, Dave. I like the B&W and the composition. I also notice that you got an angle that didn't include your footprints in the snow. Don't know if I'd have thought of that. I have a cemetary at the end of my block and have been trying to think of a shot or two to take there. This gives me some ideas.

Gosh Dave - how somber! Nevertheless, your capture is outstanding and what I like about this image is the crispness of the B&W.
Great work.

A beautiful but moving photo. Lighting is just right for the mood of the photo, not easy to do with the bright snow. It this a recent photo? I know you get earlier snow than we do. Del.

You caught this well Dave. It actually feels cold. I love the detail in the trees and the tonal range is great. Well done my friend.

I like this one a lot, Dave. The strong diagonal is interesting as are the details in the headstones. There is a full ranges of tones in this black and white treatment and the exposure on the snow is exactly right since there is just a little detail to be discerned.

Dave,

you've caught the motion of the snow superbly - must have been falling faxt as it's 1/125 secs!

Again, I'm looking forward to a bit of snow - be a nice change of scenrary - and I live next to a cemetary so I'll see if I can get a UK version of this!

Interesting shot with a good title. I like the line of tombstones, but the first one doesn't seem to fit because it appears to be floating in space instead of placed on the ground like the others. The image works a lot better for me with it cropped out.

I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Even aside from the nice symbolism of winter as death this is exceptional because of the juxtaposition of the tall vertical gravestones and the tree trunks.

Dramatic composition in B&W.
