Hallo Hugo.
Bedankt voor je commentaren tot nu en met name deze laatste.
Ja waarom en hoe ik zoveel foto,s plaats en zeker maak heeft te maken met m,n werk en m,n aangeboren inzicht voor de kleine dingen om ons heen ,genieten van landschappen,natuur.tuin, bloemen groot en klein ,zon en wolken ect . Ben op mij 27 begonnen met Practica Spiegel Reflex.en maakte dia,s van onze 5 kinderen en van alles wat interessant was in de natuur, maar meest planten en bloemen. Ik was zelf bezig om een boek te schrijven , over planten en hun eigenaardigheden die ik maar kon verzamelen,vooral streekgebonden.
Voorbeeld : Bitterzoet (Solanum dulcamara)werd bij ons in Westerwolde "Kwalsterhout" genoemd. Kwalster=spug. De naam zegt het als je op het hout kauwt is het eerst zoet en dan bitter en spuug je het uit. Wordt elders in ons land Elfrank en Wild Zoethout genoemd. Is Familie van onze aardappel , heeft de zelfde bloem en bessen en vormt geen knollen maar ranken.Voor aardappel telers een ramp asl waardplant voor een ziekt die de aardappels aantast Plant delen zijn geneeskrachtig , vooral bloedzuiverend. enz
zo kun je nog wel door gaan , maar .........
Na de Practica, een Nikon deze heb ik nog maar uitgeleend aan een van mij dochters ,die de passie van Pa heeft overgenomen. Maar ik deed alles bescheiden want het werd een steeds duurderder hobby en een groot en duur gezin.
Ik heb altijd als projectleider van grote lindinrichtingswerken gewerkt en makte ook daar veel fotoreportages ect
Toen een van onze kinderen naar Brazilie vertrok , werd de mogelijkheid via de computer om foto,s uit te wisselen aangegrepen, ik heb dat en doe dat nog via Webshots .

Toen het digitale tijdperk aan brak was ik helemaal verkocht (financieel voordeel). Via vrienden op Webshots kwam ik ook bij Usefilm terecht en PhotoSig ect.
Helaas heb ik dit jaar een Burnhout gehad en niet voor Usefilm . Foto,s maken was nu helelmaal een uitlaatklep en therapie.
Momenteel ben ik weer een paar dagen met werken begonnen, en zal de hoeveelheid te plaatsen foto,s wel afnemen , maar in juni 2005 hoop ik met de VUT te gaan , dan zal het wel weer worden opgevoerd.

Ha Teunis, gewoon een beetje nieuwsgierig: Gaat er wel eens een dag voorbij dat je minder dan drie foto's upload? Hoe kom je toch aan zo'n ontzettende hoeveelheid "beauties"? 1252 stuks in totaal! Ongeloofelijk! Mijn complimenten.... Hoop, dat je me vergeeft dat ik slechts op een fractie daarvan commentaar kan geven:)
Ik vind dat er in deze foto een beetje veel ruis zit; de zwarte vlakken zijn wat plat; maar buiten dat een mooie compositie, en een indurkwekkende zonsondergang.... Complimenten!

Very nice sunset, but the noise ruins it for me, if it was grainy over the whole image ok, but here it is only really visible in the shadows and this is very distracting.
Next time use a lower iso and tripod, that should help with the noise. OR:
You should try a noise reducing program like " Neat Image " it will clean this up a treat!

Great scenery with wonderful colors of reflections in the water. Very well composed. Would like to see it cropped from the top down as far as to the top of the tree on the left (sky if full of air planes...)
