Richard do it! My favorite place I dream of is Out in the desart east of you. Back 6 months ago I sold a 30x40 print to a guy on the internet who fell in love with one of my prints when I got his address it was about 30 west of where I had taken the picture. You have some gorges places and late afternoon light out there. It's well worth the trip. As I wrapped up his print the cat thought it was a litter box. See pics

You must have brought back some fascinating images if we are to judge by this one. This makes me want to head a little east of where I live and see these forms for myself! You have done a nice job of composing and exposing. I am not a fan of color negative film, but this looks alright to me. One could probably cruise along the old stretches of Route 66 and get many great images. Sounds like a plan!

Thanks for the kind words. Since that trip I have become facinated by sand dunes and the shapes they form. I also went to Colorado to the National Dune Park outside west of Peblo. They were so big that there was no detail in the photos and you could not relate to the size since people walking on the dunes looked like black speks on the photos.

Hi Royce, beautiful shot; those dunes are fascinating; very vigourous curves and shapes. The lighting works quite well in emphasising the slants in the landscape. Very good shot!

Cheers,

Hugo
