I lived just around the corner, the only water that could have been used was a klong that was little more than an open sewer. Cowboy was much more picturesque

Brad, Loy Kratong is better appreciated next a river, or a lake, where thais lit up their Kratongs and let them be carried by the current...
Alternatively Nana could be another VERY good alternative location you are totally right!.

In Thailand, the Tattoo is only traditional for criminals, tattos have become fashionable in the las 3-4 years for the general population. I have some front ones and will post soon

Isn't the tattoo traditional too? I liked the distant lights; they look as if they are beckoning the young woman to go on and have a good time... It's rare to see a portrait of the back of someone that look as good as this one does! Let's see the front, too, sometime.
