About Kuwait Towers, which are located at Ras-Agoza cape, and constitute an important part of the waterfront known for its touristic and recreational features, were inaugurated in March 1979.

This landmark includes three towers: the largest is 187 meters high and features a restaurant, a snack bar, a cafe, and a high viewing sphere which makes a complete rotation every 30 minutes. The second tower is 147 meters high and was designed as a reservoir for one million gallons of fresh water. The smallest tower provides lighting for the two other towers and supplies the area with electricity.

Behind the towers, the photo shows the persian Gulf Avenue, and Dasman Palace which was established by Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak in 1916, and completed by Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah who made it the official palace of the State. It is now the residence of HH Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait.

Kuwait towers have become one of the most important landmarks of Kuwait. They are a symbol of its development and continued progress.

Preciosa imagen!

La mayoría de nosotros conocíamos estas torres como una imagen asociada a los tristes dias de la guerra. Es una delicia verlas hoy como objeto de una imagen artística y conocer por tu comentario, su pacífico uso
