Hello Chris,
- thank you for your comment. - about my name. At first sight there is some similarity between our names, but as far as I know it is a real Dutch and not very common name. It was first mentioned in the centre of Holland in about 1700. As far as I know there are no roots in Norway. - I looked at your portfolio and I am impressed: there are may beautiful pictures!

Hi herman, I'm commenting on your photo for two reasons? 1. It's an excellent shot, with great light! And? 2. Your surname may well have the same root as my own! One theory about the derivation of my surname is that it comes from the old Norse word 'Sprackeleggar' ~ meaning 'creaky legs'. I wonder if you can enlighten me any further? Kind regards, Chris
