About One of the highlights of our trip to the Cotswolds was a visit to Birdland, where this colourful creature was captured.

He didn't say much, but then his mouth was too busy to talk!!

Best regards to all,

Chris

A bird that somehow reminds me they are supposed to be descended from the reptiles... Something about that beady eye! Hard to believe those colours...

Hi Chris! Is this that extremely huge kind of parrot? How beautiful! And what fantastic photo quality! I really love it!

I mostly just pooped in to you now to say hello, and I will come back another day because I'm in freaking out mood at the moment... A spam email came to my mailbox this morning, and I didn't even open it because my antivirus program said it's infected and tried to download virus. I chose to delete it with the antivirus program, and then I restarted my PC, and since then everything is just so weird..! Like if my PC is overtaken and controlled by someone else, and messages keep popping up that my IP adress is in conflict etc. Aaaarrgghhh... I'm very frustrated now... hehe.

But I come back when I can. And ps. I totally understand the meaning of lack of time so don't ever worry about that! ;-))

LOL for the about and nice view of this bird of Birdland; I wonder if all body in focus would render a better shot, even without the 3D feel this brings; actually I am always disturbed in each shot with this situation: unfocused part in wide area which captures my eyes

Wonderful capture Chris, the colours are gorgeous. We also intended visiting several attractions during our half term holiday on Anglesey. But most places were closed for the season - one of these was also a bird sanctuary. Sometimes you just cannot win !

Best wishes,
Steve

Love the Macaws! He is a handsome one, I'm partial to the blue and gold ones. Have you ever seen the Hyacinth? (Indigo blue with bright gold outlining his eyes, also a macaw) YEs, expensive and they do need a LOT of room. They can be so gentle and sweet.

You've captured him well Chris,
Lori ;)
