cute star trails,nice composition and good lighting choice for the foreground. i think that you'd go for a wider view if you had a wider lens for your TLb,would you? well,that's what i'd choose,but your image shows that you can get beautiful images even with moderate wideangles ;-)

Hi Ryan, The catus was lit with a small flash light with a color correction gell on it. I exposed the cactus at the very end of the one hour exposure. Your shot is okey however, I prefer the longer exposures of one hour +, If I were you I would light up the forground trees with a 1 million + candle power quartz beam or several pops from a flash unit. I will be uploading more of my night shots in the days to come where if have used these these light sources. If you want to get into night photography you will need all mechanical camera. If you use a modern camera with an electronic shutter you will find yourself with a dead camera in no time. I prefer my Nikon FM2 ,Canon Ftb, and for medium format my Mamiya RB67 and Thanks for your interest, Jason
