Darrell, this is spectacular! I've never seen the northern lights, hopefully some day I will. In the mean time, thanks for sharing this. I love that Orion is right in the center, very beautiful. It's my favorite constellation.

A stunning shot Darrell. As well as capturing the spectical of the Aurora you've also managed to capture the blue of the hotter stars in Orion.
Your shot also hi-lights why the Vikings used to believe that these light shows were sky spirits as this display gives the impression of a horned figure. Once again truly stunning.

wonderfu and amazing colors of the sky; I think these truks/bushes at the bottom distract this beaitiful view - I would crop them;
