Hi Bart
Thank you for commenting on my shot. I always apreciate your input. As for the vertical composition I do have one tried a lot of different composition will try to post them soon. 'yslef too prefer the vertical one thats why I started with this one. :) Just got back from a 29 day trip to the southwest. Absolutely incredible.

This is absolutely beautiful. The canyon walls are well lit and have good contrast. The color is just enough saturated without being too over the top. There are fairly strong lines and shapes that help the overall composition. And there is always something about slow shutter speeds and shallow water that give a sense of timelessness. Excellent photograph.

Hmm? Really a beautiful capture, but I'm wondering if this wouldn't have been even better as a vertical showing the color and height of the canyon walls in the rear. Wonderful water blur. Regards

Wonderful shot in many ways - the colours and great with the contrasting warm and cool tones. I also love the composition, the way the eye is led in several directions, down the river, and also towards the 'arch' by the rocks in the river.... great work! :)

Very nice, Pat. The river rocks lead my eye to the crevice in the wall and then into the distance. Nice. Lou

Great image, Pat and a great location. The diagonal works well and it must have been difficult to decide what to isolate in this location.
