Great picture, Richard. Since i got my camera at Christmas time, I've been waiting for a nice aurora display to see if I can get a decent picture. Of course, we haven't had any to speak of since.

Yes, I used a tripod. It was an awsome evening. I took about 50 pics. Everyone of them was different. We don't get the northern lights down here very often so I took advantage of the oppurtunity. Thank you for all your very kind comments.
