It's really beautiful country there. I use to live in Waynesboro near where the Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway meets.

Rebecca - Great job capturing the moment in fall. Great color rendering! Quiet shot. I too think the light-water interaction is what makes the shot!

Rebecca, the pastel colours are magical from the soft orange and greens to the aqua water. The water has caught the light in just the right places. Beautiful shot my friend.

Rebecca, this is very nice!!!!! Looks like my kinda place. I like how the light is somewhat diffused by the trees, its not too bright here and I think it is good in this shot. I like the girl being off centered the way she is here, I think to center everything would make this a boring shot, I think, that sometimes, its better not to have your main subject in the center on the frame. Like the frame you put on this, you learned well, good job. Jim Gamble

Stunning scenery Rebecca, The composition and colors are great, as if it's a painting. The different colors of the trees in the background and the blue color of the water in the foreground are beautiful, good work Rebecca, Regards, khaled.

Lovely crisp, glittering light on the water and in the trees! I like how the blue of the sky is reflected in the water, and the figure of the woman crossing the footbridge adds a nice touch, too. Very nice! PS congratulations on your featured critique today!

Very nice shot. If I may, I would liketo addsome new views.
Perhaps moving a little bit to the left to use the natural leading lines of the creek to lead the eye to the bridge. That would decrease the branches in the foreground, which to take away from the main element, the bridge. Also if you had photographed the person in the middle of the bridge, the lines of the creek would have led, again, to the main object of the picture, the person crossing the bridge.
Still, a very nice shot; it reminds me of the bridge leading to the "old Growth Forest" on Mt Rainier, in Washington; which has a similiar bridge.
Very well done, congratulations.

Really really nice image with the glittering water and the autumn colors. I've started framing my images as well, sometimes with less than good results. I think this image would be better with a simple colored frame without the 3-d effect.
