To each his own I guess. Now, perhaps if this were shot for one of those "any woman over a size 0 is fat" magazines than perhaps its not well suited. What you have here is a "safe approach" to portraiture. The pose works fine, the lighting appears to be just fine, the make up isn't overdone, and the hair falls just right. Yes, there could be a more creative approach. But does that mean this image doesn't work? No. It is very rare to find something that is truly creative and original-seeing as how there are a million photographers out there past and present. Then what is the whole point of photography? To shoot what you love, and to try and shoot it in the best way possible. Not everyone is going to like it. But seriously, if they don't like it, then they just don't need to comment. It is like commenting on a landscape image, saying "this is boring", just because you don't like landscapes. Would that comment have any merit? No. Anyhow, it is a nice portrait of the woman~
