I think that this is a flower of a huge tree, "Courupita guianensis", called in Amazonia as "Abrico de Macaco" You may find in Google Images...

Could it be a close relative to mistletoe? The way you composed it is very appropriate for a parasitic epiphyte. Also, the black background is perfect for intensifying the colors. One of your best!

What an amazing flower, so very pretty and it has so many colours in it. I would probably not have seen it, certainly wouldn't have gone in for any climbing - but I am so glad you did. It was worth the effort a fabulous photo a lovely composition 7+++++ and in favourites
