City - Assateague Island State - MARYLAND Country - United States
About
On my way out to the island to fish, I spotted these two deer apparently checking out the hunting regulations posted by the road. My first inclination was to use my newly found PS skills and fix the glaring eyes, but decided I liked it so this photo is posted with no editing other than cropping off the head light glare that was on the left of the photo. These deer are a species I have seen no where else in the USA. I understand they were imported. BTW, soon after a beautiful fox cross in my head lights also, but it never waited for me to get a shot.
Beautiful soft background focus Del and I am glad you left the eyes as is. It really adds a more dramatic impact to the atmosphere. Very pastel, misty peaceful scene.
Del, I think they are Sika deer, a small import. Good shot, dont let the DNR catch ya spoten deer with your car headlights, you get a massive fine and they may even take your car, camera, and anything else they can think of. In Maryland thats a serious offense, even if ya aint hunting. Jim Gamble

You did right to leave the editing well alone here Del. This is a unique shot, well captured with a great story line. Well done. Den
