About How to pay a tribute to the brilliant work of Belgian minimalist piano composer Wim Mertens? I choose onf my favorites from The Soundtract of The Belly of an Architect, a Peter Greenaway moovie. Among so many brilliant works why this composition?
if you listen t it you will notice the piano, like Life, begins slowly, softly,
marking the rhythm gently
then it becomes sharp needles spining and falling from the sky the wind instruments are the vital fast breathing to survive Life...

This 3 pictures have the "spiral feeling" that I feel when i am listen to this conposition.

ok i m still waiting for the music to download but so far based on what i ve seen the stairs are like the keys where it ascend into a greater heights. the first pic is like the beginning of each of his music where its plain and slow, before the colors of the music takes over and builts up its intensity. have i got it right so far?

Tumoltous combinations of hapazard spirals ! I was wondering what on earth this combination is.

Well, I am not into music, but interesting to see you trying to depict the music in pictures.

regards,
with a dizzy head,
ken.
