About
Mt. St Helens October 10th Yes... I went back for more, It snowed the night before, and as announced today, the magna (lave) has broken through slowly (unlike Hawaii the lava here is colder so it is slow and they can only see it glow at night). If there is any obstructions with the bulk of the magna, it could result in a large explosion (approx. 75,000 feet)
Glen, very good shot. I too like the contrast between the cold blue of the mountain and the warm sunlight on the steam. Just be careful, dont want to hear that you were lost during an eruption. Best Regards, Jim Gamble
Some great shots you're getting of this ongoing event. I like the contrast here between the cold blue white of the Mt. and the warm sunlit orange of the steam plume.
Tout est dans le moment. Good idea, great natural colours. I would have waited about one hour, to get the mountain's colour. Assuming the eruption lasted that long. Beautifully done. On a scale of 10, 7.5.
